Walking to the match today made me think of our favourite Lowry painting... I felt that surge forward and the expectation... It was quite something... I had to stand up for most of the time, but the view was excellent, row 17, seat 697, midway between the goal and the corner flag. Let's watch more live football together. It feels so good.
when i was sending you the sms yesterday i was thinking of you walking to the game and also of exactly this painting. used to stare at it as a child. maybe we should go to an SA game... a different experience but worthy.
